Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain? Time is a key factor for our everyday errands, and living a healthy life with our tumultuous routine is almost impossible. ALMOST. We made a quick list, with some quick tips on how to make your doctor proud of you in your next routine exams.

Toe-stretch

No, you won’t stretch your toe (not even sure if it’s possible), but anyway. Lye down, put your legs in the air (this is getting good), and try to reach your toes with your fingers. This will boost your circulation, preventing cramps and muscle pain.

Water hangover

The ability of cutting the excessive sugar  of your diet is hard to master, so here’s a nice and easy way to begin. Cutting sugary drinks like juices, lemonades and wine are a good start. Swap those table spoons of white happiness to those low-cal alternatives. Thirsty? Water it is.

Run to the Hills

Who’s our everyday villain? Stress! “But my everyday villain is The Jok…”. No, you’re not batman! You’re probably sitting in a comfy chair while reading this, so get up and move a little bit. Movements can stop some stress responses and progressively change your mood. Jumping Jack, side bends or sit ups, it’s all good!

Do you know what time is it? It’s Dogtime!

Pets are proven to be stress-killers, so go to Dogtime and chronometer how many seconds it’ll take you to show off that huge smile of yours.

Shhh… Silence!

Too much noise before bed (or while you’re in it) may raise blood pressures and damage your sleeping process. To a good night of sleep, keep your volume around 60% maximum, stay on a darker environment and NO screens at least one hour before bedtime. You’ll feel the difference in a less than a week, guaranteed.

Live one day at a time, doing one thing at a time and be patient. Being healthy takes time and effort, so be gentle with yourself and don’t let those tiny rocks block your path to a healthy way of living.
